Dominique Chagniot, DDS
Dr. Chagniot is a gifted oral and maxillofacial surgeon based in San Francisco, CA, providing excellent oral health care to the community she grew up in while following in her father’s footsteps.
About Dr. Chagniot
Dr. Dominique Chagniot grew up in the Ingleside/Merced Heights neighborhood of San Francisco and attended high school at St. Ignatius College Prep. As a teenager, she had the opportunity to shadow oral surgeons, which inspired her to pursue a career. Dr. Chagniot enjoys getting to know her patients to provide comfortable and compassionate care. Her goal is to treat every patient with respect and offer transparent solutions.
Dr. Chagniot wants to make patients feel good about their decision to pursue surgery and help them through the process safely and smoothly. She takes the time to answer all questions so there are no surprises and makes sure everyone is on the same page.
Education & Residency
Dr. Chagniot earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology and a minor in music theory from UC Santa Barbara in 2016. She then ventured further south for her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2020. Dr. Chagniot then completed her advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno satellite campus in 2024.

Dr. Chagniot is in the process of attaining board certification by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). She is a member of several professional organizations, including:

Outside the Office
When she isn’t at the office, Dr. Chagniot enjoys exercising, hiking, yoga, and practicing her 3-point shot. Although not an avid golfer herself, Dr. Chagniot enjoys going to the course to cheer on her husband, Amol. They also enjoy traveling and learning home-improvement together.
